  • Sierra Valley Farms hosted its final event of the season, the Barn Dinner & Benefit, on Sept. 21. Featuring Executive Chefs Mark Estee, Mike Trombetta, and Michael Plapp, along with music from guitarist Johnny Vernazza, the event raised money to fund solar panels for the farm.

  • The '80s hair metal band stopped in town on July 25. The Crüe concert showed that some things — like the band's pyrotechnics, outfits and hairstyles, and ability to rock their famed songs — never change. And we've got the photos and set list to prove it.

  • Nearly 400 attended this year's Best of Tahoe Chefs event. Local chefs prepared a scrumptious meal for attendees, and then they were auctioned to raise funds for the Gene Upshaw Memorial Tahoe Forest Cancer Center. Who do you recognize in our gallery?
